Dion stresses the importance of an encouraging and positive atmosphere no shooting down of people’s ideas and input. Carol advocates colorful, succinct speaking that raises people’s energy levels and readiness to hear what’s next. Sam cautions against being intolerant and impatient, while Steve recommends the necessity of never condescending to one’s audience. Dion demonstrates the importance of respectful interaction and openness to feedback (despite momentarily becoming defensive when Steve challenges him).
