About

The weekly task in case studies on projects and people is not a normal project under normal circumstances. It's much shorter, the teams are more diverse and the candidates lack the appropriate skills and knowledge. But the process remains typical of any project.

Task 1 - Launching a product line in Topshop

Task 2 - Putting on a catering event for the public

Define it: Involves getting a clear sense of your objectives and how to meet them. During this stage you need to clarify your way of working and communicating - with your team and with the client. The definition stage is when you outline your time scale, the necessary resources, and how you're going to do it. When you set targets and talk numbers.

Plan it: This is when you sort out the fine details, when you break the project down into its major parts, identify individual task and work out your end results. You have to decide who's doing what and by when. Assessment gives you three options.Carry on as planned. Modify the plan. Or stop.

Do it: This is the action stage, when the plan iscarried out and objectives are achieved. It requires control, communication and cooperation.
