About
Professor David Ashton is Emeritus Professor at the University of Leicester and Honorary Professor at the University of Cardiff.
He founded the Centre for Labour Market Studies at the University of Leicester. His areas of expertise are in the analysis of national systems of education and training, high performance work organisations and workplace learning.
He has provided consultancy services in the field of training and human resource development to a range of organisations in the private and public sector, various government departments in the UK, South Africa and Singapore, as well as international organisations such as the European Union, International Labour Organisation and the International Federation of Training and Development Organisations.
